L'Oreal Paris Mascara review

This is the L'Oreal mascara which I have had for a while. It is one of my favourite mascara's that I own and have owned. The full name of this is the L'Oreal Paris False Lash Mascara Superstar black.
This mascara has two ends. One end is a white mascara but this is a thickening lash primer which gives a pretty good even coverage. Then you use the other side which is labelled number 2. This is a normal false lash superstar mascara in black. When applying this I usually only use one or two coats as many after applying more then 3, it might start to get clumpy which not many people want but with just 1 or 2 coats, it gives even coverage and long black lashes that are not filled with those small clumps that everyone does not want.
Also, this mascara has a corset shaped brush on both ends which means that it can give a simple even coverage for your lashes letting you cover them top to bottom and not letting you be scared of it this big brush coming very close to your eye. I am always very careful when sticking anything near my eye whether its eye shadow, eye liner or mascara but I think this one is a great one.

There's some very scary pictures of my eyes trying to show the most from the mascara but I don't think they did it any justice.

I got this from super drug which is where I usually buy all my mascaras. It cost £10.99 which can be expensive however I do think it is worth it with the amazing quality and also lastly a very, very long time.

Remembering why you started?

The first step is to say that you can.

Starting new things and having dreams are always something great to do. Whether it's just learning to play an instrument or climbing one of the most famous mountains in the world, you can get there. Remembering why you started this certain hobby, this certain thing will help you to not quit and to follow your dream. I have never heard anyone who has got to the top say that it was easy. Of course it would be hard at first but once you get on that wagon with the fire burning inside of you it starts to become more and more easy.

This is just a thought that I have had recently because of this blog. I started it because I wanted something to do. I wanted to have somewhere I can say anything, post anything and maybe help anyone who reads this blog. But obviously, as it got on I started to hardly post as often and started to think maybe I was doing something wrong just because I could not think of many blog posts to do that people would be interested in. But as I thought of how much I love blogging and why I wanted to start, seeing how amazing other bloggers have become and how much they help people made me think that I shouldn't stop. Even if it does not get far during the time that this blog is alive and thriving, I will hopefully at least help one person in their life and my goal would be complete.

I once had a women who climbed one of the biggest mountains in the world come into our school for a talk about the future and dreams. She was one of the most in inspirational women I have had a talk from and she said so much. She talked about how hard the training was, the diet, challenges she had to face while climbing the mountain but she never stop. I found that face so fascinating because she wanted to get to the top so bad no matter how hard it was going to be. Giving her the feeling of accomplishment which I love.

If you want to travel the world, do it before it's too late. If you want to write a book, write it. If you want to get that job you have always wanted. Work hard and achieve it. Don't sit around regretting anything because you may not enjoy life as much if you do. Time is too valuable so I say do it. Remember why you wanted to do it, start it and even if it is not so easy as you thought remember why you started because it will get easier and in the end you will be so proud of yourself. That is you being yourself and doing something you love to do.

Once you remember why you started, you will remember why you cannot quit.

A quote that I have always loved is one by Walt Disney | All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them.

Halloween | 2015

Halloween is my second favourite holiday of the year (of course christmas is first!). I love the movies, make up, pumpkin carving, anything to do with halloween. This year I went out with some friends and did my halloween make up as a half skull. This style I did get `from a youtuber called pollyanne b. I love her videos so you can go check her out.

This was the face paint I did. A skull on half my face and my normal make up on the other. I loved this look finding it pretty rad. It was not that hard to do either. I did only use snazaroo face paint which may not be the best but mixing it will water well, it did give a good coverage and apart from the lips mainly, everything stayed on for a pretty long time. I did also use a setting spray which you can get from any local highstreet beauty store like superdrug or boots.

Matching with this "skull" look. I matched it with a black turtle neck top, black jeans, black shoes and a grey hoodie (I do not own a black one). This outfit worked perfectly with it and gave it that deathly look that it needed.

Also, for halloween I carved my pumpkins. Every year I carve one. The one on the right was going to be jack skeleton however I think it looked pretty cool without the teeth so thats what I did and I did the eyes a bit different so I changed it u. The one on the right is just a random one that I found on the internet which looked pretty sweet so I did it even though I made a mistake.

Lastly I made some halloween shortbread where I printed faces into the mix before I put them in the oven. I did get any pictures as all the ones I made with faces have already been eaten.

What did you dress up for halloween?
Did you carve any pumpkins?

Autumn favourites

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons and I am welcoming it in a very happy mood. Although the weather will start to get colder, I love the positives of it and everything that happens.

*not my own photo

Cosy nights with blankets
Blankets are on the top of the list for autumn essentials. Who doesn't like having a warm night watching movies in bed with as many blankets and pillows as possible or just looking at tumblr, listening to the rain with blankets wrapped around you? I defiantly love both.

Leaves
In Autumn I love going into forest and seeing all the different colour leaves and them being crunchy and falling of the trees. I find the scenery so beautiful.  If you add dogs or a hedgehog into the pictures, it makes it even more amazing.

Hot chocolate

I am a person that is totally in love with hot chocolate. I never drink tea or coffee so in winter this is my main drink. I never drink it before autumn as the weather isn't cold enough or it just isn't the right time. I normally have a hot chocolate from cadburys or Wispa adding cream or marsh mellows and having it in my favourite mugs. I absolutely love drinking it by the fire and watching TV. Hot chocolates are a must for Autumn.

Jumpers

Jumpers are the main part of Autumn for me. If you know me, you know how much I LOVE jumpers and basically wear them as much as possible especially when doing college work. They are so cosy and warm. I love the colours and some typography some have on. At the moment I am loving a yellow jumper and a grey one (grey one is in my student shopping haul so go check that out). It is just the perfect time for jumpers matched with jeans or leggings and boots.

Baking

Everyone loves baking and autumn is around the right time to start I think. I'm not the best at cakes but I love baking cookies, shortbread, bread, pies etc. Imagine just sitting by the fire with a hot chocolate and homemade cookies. Also as Halloween is just around the corner, I would start making halloween cookies and halloween treats!

Movies

I love watching movies. In Autumn all great movies go on the TV especially halloween and even some christmas films have already been played. This is my favourite time of the year to just sit down and relax to watch a movie. A bonus is if it's raining outside, many would understand where I'm coming from.

Jumpers

JUMPERS! Who doesn't like wearing jumpers? They are warm, soft, big and cosy. I would wear them inside, outside, with anything. They are my top clothing item in Autumn and Winter. I love grey and yellow jumpers right now.

Christmas is coming!

Autumn is leading to the beginning of Christmas which I am overly excited for. The music, movies, food, decorations, winter wonderland!. Christmas is my favourite season (halloween following very close) and just by the word Autumn it makes me even more excited. However for now halloween is right up my street.

Homemade Wholemeal Bread!!

Baking is one of my favourite things even if I'm not the best at cakes or making it all look great. I'm more on the taste. One of the things I'm best at is bread. I have made it many times and again made it today so I thought I would show you the recipe and how to make it.

This wholemeal bread recipe I did find on the internet. The website called bakingmad.com so if you want to, go check out their website and see all the amazing recipes they have. It is a very easy and quick recipe, especially good if you are a beginner.

Ingredients:
Wholemeal bread flour (can use normal bread flour) - 500g
Butter - 15g
Salt (optional) - 1 1/2 or 2 tsps
Yeast - 7g or 1 sachet (any kind of easy bake/ dried yeast)
Water - 300ml with 100ml being boiling hot and 200ml being cold
Golden Caster sugar (optional) - 1tsp

Directions
1) Sift the flour into a large bowl adding the salt, sugar and yeast. (I didn't use sugar). Next rub in the butter and pour in the water making it into a nice dough.

2) Put a good amount of flour onto a surface and start kneading the dough. It may take about 10 minutes to get to a smooth and elastic consistency

3) Put the dough into a bowl/your baking tray and cover to let it rise. Leave it like this for about 40 minutes with it doubling in size.

4) Preheat the oven at 230 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.

5) Reduce heat to 200 degrees and cook for a further 20 minutes
6) Once taken out let it cool and put on a wire rack
7)Cut it into slices and put your favourite toppings on (I had butter and Pate YUM!)

Thank you for reading and if you liked this recipe try it out or comment below!

Haul | Student shopping

On the 7th October, there was student shopping at a shopping centre near me. This meant for students, there was 10%, 20% or even 30% off everything in certain shops. And if you know me, I love a good bargain or any money off. This is everything I brought, however it is some of my most favourite items I got.

This is one of my most favourite things. It is the pink grapefruit hand cream from the Body Shop. I always get my hand creams from the body shop because they smell AMAZING and they make your hands so soft. It also is in a cute, little tube which easily can fit in handbags etc.

Elegant touch is one of my most favourite fake nail companies. It is such good quality and you can get so many different colours. I have only used them once before and previously, they were a matte blue colour but this time they are a light pink colour. However these nails do not last very long. Limit may be 10 days unless you keep glueing them on over and over. They also are expensive costing £6 but I think they are worth it. Also they look cute. I brought these from superdrug.
Both of these were from Forever 21. The first one is a burgundy colour which I love and find the writing on it so simple but love it at the same time. I also wanted a burgundy colour top so I decided to buy that one. I think it cost around £8 without the discount.
Also the next one is the most comfiest grey jumper you could imagine. It is so warm and cosy which is great for fall (and a hot chocolate). I cannot remember how much this cost.

I have always wanted a phone case from skinny dip as they are so cute and adorable. I did buy this from topshop and it was originally £12 however it only cost £9 which I find a great deal. I was tossing between a dinosaur one and a llama one but in the end I did go for the dinosaur as well because dinosaurs are cool... This phone case is such great quality and its for the iPhone 5c but I think you can also get it for the 6.

When shopping I also got a massive pyjama shirt from Primark which I have wanted for a while and a couple other things. Overall, I love all these products and do recommend them.

B. Makeup brush cleanser | REVIEW

Washing make up brushes is a must needed thing for every girl or boy who wears make up. When using a make up brush, it can get build up of oils from your skin, dirt etc. that you do not want on your face repeatedly every time you use them. Right?

This is the makeup brush cleanser made by which cleans and also conditions all make up brushes making them the best quality for also a cheap price as I do not want to spend a lot of money just in cleaning my make up brushes.
Costing £4.99 (Superdrug)

This product that I brought fairly recently is amazing. All you have to do is spray it a couple of times on the brush then wipe with tissue (I use kitchen roll) and it will get all the left over dirt and make up off putting it onto the tissue. It's as simple as that!

I absolutely love this product and defiantly recommend it if you are looking for one to buy.

New Beginnings!

Everyone in their life go through new things all the time, whether it's big or small it happens every day. It can always be very overwhelming and this is why I haven't been posting as much recently. SO much has been going on, new things that I have either loved or not, and it isn't just happening to me.

Recently, I moved house. This was a big thing because I was moving out of the town that I have lived my whole life. It is very different moving into a new house. Boxing up and unboxing everything you own, learning how to use the gas and electric, learning to use all the new things involved in this one house that your going to live in for years. Some people do not move house there whole lives until they grow into adults which is a even bigger step because it's all new. I defiantly am scared of what the future will hold and having all those grown up responsibilities that will come with growing older in only age, just a number effecting your whole life. Voting, paying debts, moving, getting bigger jobs, having families. So much to do in just one life. Moving house made me have a different view on many things including money. In costs so much so now I have started applying for more jobs to let my parents focus mainly on the house, bills etc. rather then spending unnecessary money on me but it is all new which is scary but exciting!

Also new things that have been happening is that I started college. For 5 years, I have been going to high school, having the same way lessons go, having the same people in my year, same friends, falling out with the same people over and over again. I rarely met new people until the two sides (Until year 9 the year was split into two sides). I then met new people in my classes but it still all felt the same. Now college has started, the year, friendships have gone to different 6 forms, colleges. It's all changed. Especially the way college learns. Doing a BTEC, they're no exams, only assignments and coursework. It is harder work but if your doing a subject you love then it is all worth while. Also meeting new people. I have made some new amazing friends and I still talk to everyone from my old high school that are not there or are not on the same course anymore. It's a big step in your life especially if you are shy and do not have all the confidence to do these things but there's nothing to be scared of. It may be different at first but as you get used to it, it becomes a amazing experience and can be very enjoyable.

As well as that, this year I went on a cruise for the first time. This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had and I am defiantly going on one again. It was the first huge holiday I have been on as it was going to 3 countries and there was so much to consider when going on a cruise. Money exchanges, if you need a visa, where to go, times to go and how much it will actually cost over all. I learnt a lot from this holiday which will lead into my future.

Finally, job interviews. Everyone has to go to a job interview at least once in there life. Whether it's a full time. part time, summer job. It can always be daunting and I was very nervous at my first one but one you get in there, you will be confident and be able to answer anything they asked. As long as you have told the truth on your application form/CV, it will go a breeze. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. It is new to everyone and if it is a group interview, it might be new to them as well. They may only last about 10-20 minutes so it isn't that big and it can lead into something bigger.

New beginnings happen every day, every year for everyone. There is nothing to be scared of. It's life and it can lead to something things. All you have to do is take the risk and you will see in the end that it will all turn out either as you planned or something even better.

Growing lashes faster!!

Every time I wake up in the morning after either taking my mascara off or not, my lashes always seem to look damaged or thinner then they were before. Since I have been using this product every night, they have become thicker, better condition and less prone to break.

This is Palmer's cocoa butter formula with Vitamin E.

  • Provides 24 hour moisture
  • Proven to soften dry skin
  • Suitable for eczema prone skin
  • smoothes marks and scars
  • + more
I absolutely love this product and it wasn't that expensive either, with it lasting a very long time, I have hardly used any of it but I have had it for weeks. Also it smells amazing! I also use this product for my ache which it does work wonders because it has cocoa butter in which is a natural extract from the cocoa bean which softens skin and smoothes away dark blemishes.

I suggest if you want better quality lashes or even brows and a quick way to help with ache I suggest you buy this!!

AFK!

Hey guys.
I have posted in a while and this is just a lets say, little catch up. This week a been a bit hectic, I have had college which is 3 days a week, a job interview and also moved house. Obviously moving house is crazy especially with college on the top. As well, I only got internet today (almost used all the 3G whoops! Only got it on the 10th) so once I get everything sorted I will try and post more often but at the moment it is hard so bare with me xx

Procrastinating?

Procrastinating is one of the things I do most whether I need to do something important or not. (And I don't think it is just me). Procrastinating is always seen as 'wasting time' but I think that you can do a lot of useful things. I have got a list of things to do during it rather then going on your computer instead of doing homework or in my case, packing to move house.

  • Looking at photos of dogs dressed as humans
  • Watching netflix
  • Writing a list
  • Cleaning your room
  • Getting up to date with emails
  • Painting your nails
  • Start a hobby
  • Look at old pictures of family or holidays
  • Practice doing your make up
  • Organise your clothes in your wardrobe
  • Do yoga
  • Water plants (in my case cacti)
  • Pamper yourself
  • Read a book
  • Start a blog/if you have a blog, brainstorm ideas
  • Look at clothes on the internet
  • Make a music playlist

Some of these are useful but some are not but I hope this list was good in anyway.

What are the ways you procrastinate??

Chanel Overload!

Perfume ft cuddles the cactus
Hey guys, so in July for my birthday I got the Chanel Chance Eau De Toilette perfume which I literally use everyday but it has lasted a long time for me. It is a bit on the expensive side costing around £40 - £50 and it is the smaller bottle. I do not buy perfumes until the other one has run out so I do not mind spending that around every few months on perfume. It also smells amazing! so I defiantly think you should go buy it if you have the money or are looking for a new perfume. It is now my favourite one I have ever brought and I will be re-buying it when it runs out.

Q&A with Daizy!

So today I have a collab post with Daizy from BrightDreamerz and we have decided to do a Q&A with 5 questions about blogging and 5 random questions about us.

BrightDreamerz is a blog run by two girls named Daizy and Zya (not their real names). They have got a range of posts uploaded like baking, photography, travel, reviews and each has their own separate posts which they have done on their own and not together. Also the posts are have very interesting topics which I love. They always post something that will make you happy, inspiring and something to put a smile on your face.

Q&A

Why is that the name of your blog?
Zya and I both made up a lot of names and in the end we combined two of her ideas and chose one of my ideas then did Ip Dip Doo to choose! Haha

Why did you start blogging?
I personally started blogging because i wanted to make people happy and if they were having a tough day they can come to our blog, read a post then feel instantly better.

Was there anyone that influenced you?
Zoella, Niomi Smart and Tanya Burr really influenced me to start blogging as i really enjoyed what they were writing and i thought it was really cool!

Any upcoming posts your thinking of?
I have a lot of new posts coming soon like reviews and something to do with Disney ;)

How do you come up with new posts?
New post ideas just come to me randomly! They happen so often i need to carry a notebook with me so i can write them all down

Favourite tv shows?
Recently i've just finished season 6 of PLL so i'm hooked to that also Once Upon A Time and finally the Bake Off cause who doesn't love cake?!

Any secret talents?
I'm quite good at writing and also photography my family say i have a good eye and apparently i'm a natural! (I don't know if they count as talents but they're the ones that popped into my head!)

Favourite animal?
I love pandas i think they're adorable!

Can you speak any other languages?
Sadly not fluently but i do know a bit of Spanish, French and Filipino but only bits and pieces

Do you have any hobbies?
I really enjoy karate which people are a bit shocked by when i say i do that as i don't come across as someone who would enjoy such a tough sport

Go check out there blog (link above) to see my answers to some questions they asked xx

Revolution Eyeshadow!! (Budget)

The Redemption Palette Essential Mattes 2
This at the moment is the eyeshadow palette that I'm using, normally using it everyday. It isn't one of the most expensive brands ever (I don't have a lot of money to spend on eyeshadows etc. these days) but it is very good quality and does last a long time throughout the day. It is easy to apply and easy to blend in with other colours and defiantly all the colours work well together so you can blend whichever ones you like.

These are the colours I use the most. (They don't have names *sad face*) I normally use the lighter colours on the inner corner of my eyes and blend the darker colours in from the outer corner. (My favourite is defiantly the purple's on both pictures)

Purple, brown, darker purple
To be honest, I have always thought that to have a good eyeshadow you need to buy the expensive brands e.g. Naked but you really don't. This is one of my favourites that I have got and I love it. I will be using for a long time from now on.

Hope this helped if you was looking for a new eyeshadow palette.

How to stop being late all the time?!

It seems like being late is a problem for many people and in certain situations it's including me. I absolutely hate being late even if it is for one of the most simplest things ever e.g. shopping with a friend and I'm guessing many others hate it as well. One of the main reasons I think I am late most of the time is that I procrastinate (doing other things while your meant to be doing something more important e.g. using your phone while studying) and it is annoying but come on who doesn't do it like everyday (I may be doing it when writing this post shhhh).

I have found a few things that can help to stop people from being so late to everything.

1) Plan ahead. This might sound boring or too much effort however it would help a lot. Write down everything you have to do in that day and what times your going to do them. E.g wake up at 8 and go food shopping at 10. This helps you as you know you have to follow it so you do not run out of time and I think that if I followed something like that I would have to or the whole day would just fall apart. If you don't have a plan then you will have unrealistic estimates of time that your going to do everything in.

2) Bring something to do when waiting. Many people do not like getting to there destination early as there might not be anything to do in the mean time. I suggest you bring a magazine or a book which you could read while waiting or just go on social networking and listen to music. That is what does it for me. You could talk to a old friend etc. Just try and find something to do as it is compelling and will help you get there earlier then the expected time.

3) This might sound ridiculous however it makes sense. Never plan to get there on time. If you plan to get to the destination on time then you will always end up being late. This is because you think to yourself it will take only 15 minutes to get there but then you get in loads of red lights, forget your purse or you could take longer to do your make up. They're many things that can effect the time so plan to be everywhere 15 minutes earlier and that will help.

These points might help but lets face it, it will always be better to hit the snooze button on your alarm and stay in bed another hour so either get yo ass in gear or plan to do things a hour later as no one likes to meet with people that are late.

Hoped these 3 points helped you out or even a friend out.

Lush facemask and moisturiser - REVIEW

Lush is one of the most incredible cosmetic store around. I always buy bath bombs, face washes, shower gels etc. even though it can be on the pricey side, the products work so well and are such good quality. (No I'm not kidding). Plus a benefit of using lush is that NONE of the products are tested on animals in anyway which makes me very happy when I buy something.

These two products are ones that I have had for a while and that I will keep buying for god knows how long.

The first is the Imperialis. This is a moisturiser that I use every time I go to bed and sometimes before I put make up on as it can work as good base. This has lasted me for around 3-4 months already and I'm just over half way through (Guilty I did spill some when I dropped it whoops) as it only takes a little bit to go a long way. This moisturiser is good for dry, damaged skin and helps a lot with spots. My face has felt so much more clearer since I started using this. I think it works a lot better then a normal face wash. Also, it is good for travelling as Lush uses the small pots that do not leak so you can put them anywhere. There is not a overpowering smell although at first it can be very watery however after a minute or two it starts to sink into the skin and works perfectly.

The next product that is my favourite is the cupcake face mask from lush. This face mask is a chocolate smell (ahhh!!) that is just heavenly and refreshing to the skin. It works with Rhassoul mud and Cocoa powder to give a deep cleanse to the skin and moisturise. It also has a tint of mint in which is strong in the smell of this product and it helps tone the skin to stop breakouts. I absolutely am crazy about this product and use it every time I have a bath (normally keeping it on for half an hour rather then 10-15 minutes but who cares, am I right!) This product does not last as long as the moisturiser does however I use it less then the Imperialis does so it still last a couple of months.

Thank you for reading xx
