L'Oreal Paris Mascara review

This is the L'Oreal mascara which I have had for a while. It is one of my favourite mascara's that I own and have owned. The full name of this is the L'Oreal Paris False Lash Mascara Superstar black.
This mascara has two ends. One end is a white mascara but this is a thickening lash primer which gives a pretty good even coverage. Then you use the other side which is labelled number 2. This is a normal false lash superstar mascara in black. When applying this I usually only use one or two coats as many after applying more then 3, it might start to get clumpy which not many people want but with just 1 or 2 coats, it gives even coverage and long black lashes that are not filled with those small clumps that everyone does not want.
Also, this mascara has a corset shaped brush on both ends which means that it can give a simple even coverage for your lashes letting you cover them top to bottom and not letting you be scared of it this big brush coming very close to your eye. I am always very careful when sticking anything near my eye whether its eye shadow, eye liner or mascara but I think this one is a great one.

There's some very scary pictures of my eyes trying to show the most from the mascara but I don't think they did it any justice.

I got this from super drug which is where I usually buy all my mascaras. It cost £10.99 which can be expensive however I do think it is worth it with the amazing quality and also lastly a very, very long time.

Remembering why you started?

The first step is to say that you can.

Starting new things and having dreams are always something great to do. Whether it's just learning to play an instrument or climbing one of the most famous mountains in the world, you can get there. Remembering why you started this certain hobby, this certain thing will help you to not quit and to follow your dream. I have never heard anyone who has got to the top say that it was easy. Of course it would be hard at first but once you get on that wagon with the fire burning inside of you it starts to become more and more easy.

This is just a thought that I have had recently because of this blog. I started it because I wanted something to do. I wanted to have somewhere I can say anything, post anything and maybe help anyone who reads this blog. But obviously, as it got on I started to hardly post as often and started to think maybe I was doing something wrong just because I could not think of many blog posts to do that people would be interested in. But as I thought of how much I love blogging and why I wanted to start, seeing how amazing other bloggers have become and how much they help people made me think that I shouldn't stop. Even if it does not get far during the time that this blog is alive and thriving, I will hopefully at least help one person in their life and my goal would be complete.

I once had a women who climbed one of the biggest mountains in the world come into our school for a talk about the future and dreams. She was one of the most in inspirational women I have had a talk from and she said so much. She talked about how hard the training was, the diet, challenges she had to face while climbing the mountain but she never stop. I found that face so fascinating because she wanted to get to the top so bad no matter how hard it was going to be. Giving her the feeling of accomplishment which I love.

If you want to travel the world, do it before it's too late. If you want to write a book, write it. If you want to get that job you have always wanted. Work hard and achieve it. Don't sit around regretting anything because you may not enjoy life as much if you do. Time is too valuable so I say do it. Remember why you wanted to do it, start it and even if it is not so easy as you thought remember why you started because it will get easier and in the end you will be so proud of yourself. That is you being yourself and doing something you love to do.

Once you remember why you started, you will remember why you cannot quit.

A quote that I have always loved is one by Walt Disney | All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them.

Halloween | 2015

Halloween is my second favourite holiday of the year (of course christmas is first!). I love the movies, make up, pumpkin carving, anything to do with halloween. This year I went out with some friends and did my halloween make up as a half skull. This style I did get `from a youtuber called pollyanne b. I love her videos so you can go check her out.

This was the face paint I did. A skull on half my face and my normal make up on the other. I loved this look finding it pretty rad. It was not that hard to do either. I did only use snazaroo face paint which may not be the best but mixing it will water well, it did give a good coverage and apart from the lips mainly, everything stayed on for a pretty long time. I did also use a setting spray which you can get from any local highstreet beauty store like superdrug or boots.

Matching with this "skull" look. I matched it with a black turtle neck top, black jeans, black shoes and a grey hoodie (I do not own a black one). This outfit worked perfectly with it and gave it that deathly look that it needed.

Also, for halloween I carved my pumpkins. Every year I carve one. The one on the right was going to be jack skeleton however I think it looked pretty cool without the teeth so thats what I did and I did the eyes a bit different so I changed it u. The one on the right is just a random one that I found on the internet which looked pretty sweet so I did it even though I made a mistake.

Lastly I made some halloween shortbread where I printed faces into the mix before I put them in the oven. I did get any pictures as all the ones I made with faces have already been eaten.

What did you dress up for halloween?
Did you carve any pumpkins?
